Description
Chundi thangka is a type of Tibetan Buddhist painting or scroll that depicts the divinity Chundi. Chundi is shown as a goddess who is seated on a lotus throne in a Chundi Thangka. She has twelve hands and three eyes, each holding a different object like a sword, a wheel, a bell, or a diamond. These characteristics indicate some of Chundi' s enlightened characteristics, as well as her capacity to ease pain and provide guidance.
